Over 310,000 new seedlings of black and scots pine are germinating for life at the project nursery near the village of Lokorsko. Over the next month they will be followed by several hundred thousand more seedlings of coniferous and broad-leaved species, which we will be grown at the nursery until they are ready for reforestation. At the same time, work continues on reforestation of the saplings produced last year with the aim of restoring damaged forests in Southwestern Bulgaria.
