At Lokorsko nursery has started the process of seedling production under the project. Currently the work is concetrated on the production of seedlings of Greek juniper (Juniperus excelsa) – through rooting of the juniper cuttings collected by project team in the area of Kresna gorge earlier this year.
At the same time we have also started the work for identification of sources, collection na dprocessing of forest reproductive materials (mostly seeds) from priority forest species which will be used both for the stocking of forest gene bank at Lokorsko nursery, and for the production of the seedlings necessary for the foreseen reforestation works under the project.
