The preparation for autumn reforestation campaign has started at Lokorsko nursery. The first parcel of over 7000 containerized seedlings of black pine was prepared for transportation and planting on the territory of State Hunting Unit Osogovo.
Ground clearing and soil preparation works on the territories of State Forestry Units Dupnitsa and Kresna where broadleaved containerized seedlings (i.e. downy oak, plain trees, alder) will be planted by year end under the project are also advancing.
Collection of the necessary seeds for seedling production in 2020 has also started in parallel. After the seeds are tested and certified, a large percentage of them will be prepared and sown in containers in the coming months.
